Aada
Meaning: noble; ornament
Origin: Finnish
Aada, the Finnish form of Ada, has two competing sources: a Germanic root, adal, 'noble,' and a separate Hebrew Ada (עָדָה), 'ornament' or 'adornment,' borne by a wife of Lamech in Genesis. Which one any given Aada is 'from' generally comes down to family tradition rather than settled etymology.
